Fire Alarm

Fire alarm inspection and maintenance schedule:

• Daily. Owner or owners agent is to check the fire alarm control panel to ensure that there are no troubles on the system

• Monthly. Owner or owners agent is to test the emergency power system of the fire alarm control panel to ensure system functions on power failure. If the system has voice communication, it is to be tested for functionality.

• Annual. The fire alarm system is to be tested, inspected and maintained by a certified company to CAN/ULC-S536 requirements. The functionality of the entire system must be recorded in a CAN/ULC - S536 report.​​​​​​​​
